Default Model Number for Packard Bell iMedia, without opening case?

Can't seam to find the model number anywhere, need it to order new chips from Crucial Memory... they read it as:

Our System Scanner couldn't make a complete match, but we can still help you find the right memory upgrade.

System Manufacturer: Packard Bell NEC
System Model: 00000000000000000000000
Motherboard Manufacturer: NEC COMPUTERS INTERNATIONAL
Motherboard Model: SiS650

Is the answer just a couple of mouse clicks away?

You are trying to get more memory? What is the model number of the desktop?

If you don't know, download this and install it (disable the price engine).

Run it, select Get Hardware info then Computer overview.

It'll tell you all you need to know.

After turning on your PC you can access your BIOS by pressing DEL or F2 or something. It might tell you in there, care not to change anything in there though.

Great software, gave loads of cool info... but for model number just gave string of zeros Will pop the case tomorrow and take a look, or even get the details direct from the memory chips.

Did have it confirmed it has 256MB but 64MB is taken by graphics card, madness I seriously think its been got at before I got it and someones had the other 256MB chip... but I got it for nothing, so guess I can't complain

P.s.
Video card is SiS 650 (AGP 2.00)
I've been into Control Panel | System to try and get it to hog less memory, but there are no adjustable options Looking further into this now, but if anyone has any tip, that would be great.

Is there nothing on the case that tells you the model number?

Sandra should tell you what memory it has and what type. Copy the results from the computer overview (there's an icon at the bottom, 2nd from the left, to copy results to clipboard) and paste them into a post. I daresay we can work out what you have and what you need.

Will hit it fresh tomorrow

Have tried BIOS thing, but can only get some kind of pre-installed system recovery software Will try this again tomorrow.

P.s.
It's a nice machine, for a back-up, if it had 512MB+ instead of just 192MB (usable), it would be prefect for email, light browsing, media player

Googled P/N and got this on yank site:
