This thread will document my progress as I achieve Supernova Elite in 2010. Historically my record with reaching goals is terrible but I believe the lessons I've learnt from those failures will now allow me to achieve this goal.

To start with my aim will be to make 28k VPP/week, roughly 60k hands/week at $200NL 6-max. Similar to Bas I would like to finish before the WCOOP ME (and before him!), however there's no point planning too far ahead as things can change. The main goal is just to reach it before the end of the year.

To begin with I will mainly be playing $200NL 6-max, hopefully I'll be able to move up as the year progresses. I will be spending much more time studying the game, in particular more comprehensive reviews of sessions I play, but also watching videos and other learning methods.

I'll update this thread at least once a week with my progress. The majority of my play will be at weekends so my "week" will run from Fri-Thurs to allow me to alter the hours I play later in the week to hit my VPP targets. Therefore I'll most likely be updating on Thursday evenings.

I wish everyone luck with their own challenges and hope you enjoy following mine.

GL with the challenge! Are you planning on playing any of the WCOOP events or is this just a bit of a personal deadline?
