Hi there,
Some of you may not know who i am because I havnt been on here for about 4 months+havnt played online for the same time either coz of work away.I'm treating myself 2 a dongle at Xmas+looking 2 get back into playing.I was potentially a big winner online but my BR managemant held me back coz I would always play too high+would go on tilt all the time+very quickly aswell.Late last year/early this year I was playin 0.25/0.50-0.50/1.00,untill some very bad sessions coz of tilt+was soon back to 0.05/0.10.I'm posting this for advise on where to start.il be playing mainly cash games with odd MTT at the weekends.Any advise Reg would be greatly appreciated. |

Get on Betfair mate. I've been playing there on and off for a while now and its the softest site around(apart from Sky).
Sign up through EMs and get the 30% rakeback too. Also, don't be a cheapskate and buy HEM (I can't remember if you bought it previously). How much are you thinking of depositing? 20BI is enough for anything up to $50nl because the games are seriously terrible, save for a few half decent TAG's who can sometimes meddle with your plans. If they army have taught you some self discipline, I really think you could do very well for yourself, as your biggest enemy was always your spewy sessions. Let me know what you end up doing. Don't go spending all of your wages before our bumper Xmas home game ![]() |

Think il give betfair a try out.Is that the site that JP plays on,if it is I don't like the softwear but il giv it a go.My ban is up on stars now so was thinking just using stars. Not going to put too much on in the region of £200.The army has learnt me more self disipline so hopefully that can be transfered into poker.
When is the Xmas game?how much is every1 payin in if at all+how much will I have to put in? Home on the 10th till about 4th, good few weeks off. |

I think he should reconsider if he wants to take the game seriously.
Playing $200NL at FTP winning like 1.5 buy-ins over 28k hands and Playing $100NL at Stars losing like 13 buy-ins over 63.5k hands isn't good. Frazer, have you considered using training sites to improve your cash game? I'm not posting to sound harsh, just making you aware of your game. Not to say I'm a strong winning player but I am moving towards that direction.
