Preflop I would make a larger 3bet. There's already a raiser and a caller in the pot, and we'll have to play the hand OOP if anyone sticks around - let's make them pay to do it. $1.60 -$1.80 for me.

Postflop, well; it's always nasty playing KK in a 3bet pot when the ace comes. OOP with no reads, my default would be to C/C one street.

If he's going to raise then he'll do it whether you bet $1 or $2 - and if he just calls then you get more value. Value betting is the key to beating the micros.
