Default snaptips jumps 2014/15

Not sure if many are on here now so will try for a bit and see the response.

Ok here we go my first selection this season.

3.55 Newton Abbot. This is quite a tough race despite only five runners. No time for a real write up but I am going to go for Taquin Du Seuil 5/2 generally available. Had a good novice season last year. Won the JLT at Cheltenham and could have more improvement to come this year. More rain would be a help.

A disappointing run yesterday.

Today I'm looking at the Chepstow 4.55. A decent looking handicap and I am plumping for Boondooma 9/2 with betVictor, Coral, skybet and StanJames (all BOG). He put up a couple of decent performances last season winning a maiden and novice hurdle before running well to finish 5th in a decent class 2 handicap. The form of that race has worked out well with 3 of the beaten horses winning next time. I think the intention is to run him in chases later but worth a chance at this price today over hurdles.

Nice win by 6 lengths. Wish they were all that easy.

Damn, was 5/2 by the time I got to it so left it. Off the mark anyway!

One today in the last at Ffos las 5.30 A bit shorter price than normal for me but I am going for Rock The Kasbah 7/4 stanjames, Corals It might go out in price a little but using a 'BOG' bookie you will get the better price if it does. The market is very close between him and Scorpiancer but I think he could be very good.

2.20 Huntingtdon. We have missed the 7/2 on offer earlier but I will still go with Mercoeur 3/1 Coral (BOG) as low as 2/1 elsewhere. He had decent form in France (which included a third before a good winner over here yesterday) without winning before his second place over here at Fontwell a couple of weeks ago. He was just beaten out of it there when a well backed favourite. he looked like he could have needed that race after a long lay off. That together with first time cheek pieces and a shorter distance could help him today.
